The challenge for this piece was to be a focal point in a contemporary home filled with straight lines. The resulting design complements the straight clean lines in the home. The north american black walnut table top with its slightly yellow hues and nickle plated steel base with its tinge of yellow colour is  a real home-run combination. Beautiful but also pragmatic as well. Its size can comfortably accommodate a group of ten people and with its unique food safe finish it is also very easy to clean.
